Product Spotlight: Solar Powered Outdoor system

Introducing a new system for outdoor screen shades and retractable insect screens from our friends at Bandalux, which does not require power at the shade location.

This motorized shade features an external (replaceable) Lithium battery and a solar panel on the exterior of the box, which recharges the battery slowly over time. Based on use, and ambient temperatures, battery can last from 3 to 5 years before needing replacement. The insulated battery is external to the motor, making it easy to replace. Simply open the front of the box, replace with a new battery, and close the box.

This allows you to motorize an outdoor shade or insect screen without the need to hire an electrician to connect or run new junction boxes, and with minimal maintenance.
